Is your school eligible for partnership with Teach First?
For a school to be eligible to place Teach First participants at least 50% of pupils must live in the lowest 30% of the Income Deprivation Affecting Children Index (IDACI).

- They choose to work with pupils in schools in challenging circumstances for a minimum of two years
- Participants are dedicated to raising pupils' achievement, access to opportunities and aspirations
- Teach First's bespoke primary training programme - designed in partnership with top primary headteachers and other experts from across the primary sector - is unique in preparing participants to teach pupils from low-income communities
- Participants also have access to leadership development training to develop their teaching and leadership abilities, and achieve a PGCE and QTS
- Through partnership between Teach First, universities and schools, participants are supported throughout the two years to help them meet the unique needs of their schools.
