Brett Wigdortz named as a top influencer in London
08 November 2012
Our CEO and Founder, Brett Wigdortz has yet again been named by the Evening Standard as one of London’s 1000 most influential people.
Each year the daily newspaper publishes its guide to the city's most important pioneers in their field, listing achievers from the worlds of finance and politics to the arts, education and sport.
The Standard stated that Brett: "Spilled the beans about the politics behind the massive expansion of Teach First in his book Success Against The Odds. He was laughed at when he set out to challenge educational disadvantage but last year 7,000 top graduates applied for 1,000 teaching posts at poor schools."
Brett's name appeared alongside others from the education sector, including Chris Husbands, Director of the Institute of Education, Lucy Heller, Director of Ark Education, Tony Sewell, Mayoral adviser and Stephen Spurr, Westminster School headmaster.
