What makes a civilised society?

Isn’t it one where the education system gives all children the opportunity to reach their full potential? A system in which every child leaves school able to read, write and do basic maths. Where pupils from low-income families have the same chance to progress to university, or gain the skills to work.

At Teach First, our vision is a country where no child’s educational success is limited by their socio-economic background. We may be far from achieving this vision but we believe it is possible.
