When you successfully complete your two years on the Teach First programme - which involves meeting six expectations set out at the start - you become part of a growing movement of Teach First Ambassadors committed to, and excited about, keeping in touch with one another and taking their insights from the classroom to continue to address educational disadvantage long-term!
"We've made a real difference in schools. In the future, a lot of us want to carry on making a difference beyond the programme - both in and outside of work." Louise Lee (Teach First 2003 Cohort)
As an ambassador of Teach First, you will benefit from an annual programme of events and activities - including a dedicated website - designed to support you in your career, enable you to make the most of the valuable network that you are a part of, develop your leadership skills and, importantly, mobilise your skills, enthusiasm and resources in a way that will benefit education. Overall, our goal is to help you - as an ambassador of Teach First - to stay in touch with your peers and the Teach First programme, and to equip and inspire you to continue to take an active role in fulfilling the mission of Teach First.
"Teach First ambassadors represent a unique group of individuals equipped not only to make a strong impact in the workplace but to become the future 'change makers' within our society. I am immensely excited by the opportunities that exist for them to utilise the strong network that they are a part of to lead on innovation, excellence and on positively impacting our society." Brett Wigdortz (CEO of Teach First).
