The focus of the Teach First 'Beyond the Classroom' Award is to recognise Teach First Ambassadors who are no longer teachers but are addressing educational disadvantage in an outstanding way.

Core Question:

Does this Teach First Ambassador demonstrate commitment, excellence and impact in relation to addressing educational disadvantage?

Eligibility:

Teach First Ambassadors are no longer teachers but are addressing educational disadvantage through:

Their job e.g. they could be positively impacting the Teach First mission through their work in policy or mobilizing their firm or business colleagues to engage in education.
Extra curricular activity e.g. they could have set up their own social venture impacting education in a measurable way or participating in one of the Teach First Ambassador Initiatives (Policy First, Social Entrepreneurship, HEAPS, Governance for Change or Supporting Participants)
