Awards Dinner

Second year participants who teach Science, Maths, DT or ICT

Awarded to a Participant who can demonstrate that they have motivated and inspired pupils in their subject with tangible results.

One overall winner, and three finalists will each receive a cash prize and a further cash prize to fund a project or resources proposed for their school.

All four finalists will receive a complimentary ticket for themselves and a complimentary ticket for their head teacher.

Second year participants who teach History, English, Geography, Music, Art, Business Studies, MFL, Citizenship or RE (all non-STEM subjects).

Awarded to a Participant who can demonstrate that they have motivated and inspired pupils in their subject with tangible results.

School staff members who have provided formal or informal mentoring to one or more Teach First teachers (this can include Ambassadors within schools). Nominees cannot have been finalists or winners in previous years.

Awarded to someone who has been most supportive of a Teach First participant. The award recognises the importance of school staff in training and developing their Teach First participants.

One overall winner, and two finalists will each receive a cash prize and a further cash prize to fund a project or resources proposed for their school.

All three finalists will receive a complimentary ticket for themselves and a complimentary ticket for their head teacher.

Teach First Coaches, who have provided formal or informal mentoring to one or more Teach First teachers. Nominees cannot have been finalists or winners in previous years.

Awarded to a coach who has been the most supportive of a Teach First participant. The award recognises the importance of school staff in training and developing their Teach First participants.

One overall winner, and two finalists will each receive a cash prize and a further cash prize to fund a project or resources proposed for their school.

All three finalists will receive a complimentary ticket for themselves and a complimentary ticket for their coachee.

Ambassador award (sponsored by Citi)

Any Teach First Ambassador (inside or outside the classroom) who has graduated from the programme. Finalists and winners from previous years are not eligible.

Awarded to a Teach First Ambassador who can demonstrate the measurable impact they have made, or are making, in relation to addressing educational disadvantage in some way.

One overall winner, and two finalists will each receive a cash prize and a further cash prize to fund their project.

All three finalists will receive a complimentary ticket for themselves.
