Donate to Teach First

Teach First is an independent charity that relies upon donations to address educational disadvantage throughout England. If you are a UK taxpayer, please donate using the following link, as this allows Teach First to claim Gift Aid on your donation. Thank you for your support.

Gift Aid Declaration

By donating on this page you are declaring that you want Teach First to treat all donations that you have made for this tax year and the six years prior to the year of this declaration, and all donations that you make from the date of this donation until you notify Teach First otherwise, as Gift Aid donations.

You must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax that the charity reclaims on your donations in the appropriate tax year (currently 28p for each £1 you give).

Notes:
1.    If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self Assessment tax return.
2.    If, in the future, your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains equal to the tax that the charity reclaims, you can cancel this declaration by notifying Teach First via externalrelations@teachfirst.org.uk.
3.    You can also choose to cancel this declaration at any time, again by notifying Teach First via externalrelations@teachfirst.org.uk.  
4.    If you are unsure whether your donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief, please ask your local tax office for leaflet IR113 Gift Aid or visit the HM Revenue and Customs Giving to charities by individuals page.
5.    Please notify Teach First via externalrelations@teachfirst.org.uk if you change your name or address.
