The competition is open to all those over 16 years of age and enrolled in full-time education. The competition consists of two categories; one for students in Further Education (sixth form / college) and one for students in Higher Education (university). How will the winners be chosen?
The competition will be judged by a panel of leading education experts. The judges will be reviewing the first 4 minutes of each video and first 500 words of each essay submitted according to the following criteria:

From the pool of entries, a shortlist will be selected according to the above criteria. All shortlisted entrants will be invited to attend a Judging Day during which entrants will present their idea and be interviewed by a panel of high-profile judges Final decisions will be made at the judging day adjudicated by Teach First and a winner will be selected for both the Further Education and Higher Education categories.
What will happen with my entry?
By submitting your entry to the competition, you award Teach First permission to use your suggestion as part of the celebrations for our 10th Anniversary. This will include presenting and discussing your idea with a number of our stakeholders. Please see our Terms & Conditions for more information.
Can I enter more than once?
We are after as many ideas as possible. Therefore, you can enter as many times as you like, although each entry should provide a different solution for addressing educational issues in the UK.
