In May of your third term in teaching, a wide range of leadership development options will open up to you. The training offered is designed to build on your experiences in the classroom, whilst also helping you to achieve the mission of becoming a leader in your chosen field.

Objectives
The goal of the Teach First programme is to equip participants with the knowledge, skills and networks needed to achieve their goals within the classroom, in their own personal development and their future careers. Through the leadership course we offer a rich menu of options, designed to assist any participant working to achieve Teach First's mission. There is something for everyone, regardless of the field you choose to pursue after the programme - city, education, industry, non-profit, policy, new business or marketing & media.

The leadership programme involves a number of optional and compulsory courses to choose from formal and informal skills and knowledge courses, to networking events, coaching and summer projects in supporter organisations.  As with the Teach First programme, the course requires time, effort and commitment but the rewards are great.
