Careers at Teach First

If you are looking to join the Teach First programme as a teacher, please go to our Graduate Recruitment micro-site.

In only 6 years Teach First has changed the perceptions of top graduates throughout the UK, and teaching in a challenging school is now one of the most prestigious careers for the country’s top talent.

As we continue to grow and further our mission, we seek talented individuals from all backgrounds to help build the Teach First movement to address educational disadvantage through the development of highly effective teachers and leaders.

Teach First staff members are a diverse group of highly capable individuals who bring a wide range of professional experiences and share a commitment to closing the achievement gap for pupils in urban complex schools. Our staff team includes experienced professionals from both non-profit and for-profit organisations, advanced degree holders as well as recent graduates, and experienced teaching professionals as well as individuals from other sectors. Approximately 50 percent of our staff is made up of Teach First Ambassadors, having completed two years on the Teach First programme by teaching in challenging UK schools.

If you want to make a real difference, every day, then please contact us.
