National Leadership Development
The Leadership Development team aims to support Teach First Participants in becoming effective and inspirational teachers and leaders. The team designs, delivers and evaluates the Leadership Development Programme as well as supporting the Participants in achieving Qualified Teacher Status. This includes the six-week Summer Institute and numerous events, often hosted by our Supporters, including a short course at Tanaka Business School, Imperial College. Leadership Development is also responsible for placing participants in challenged schools across London, the Midlands and the North West. The Maximum Impact Programme, funded by the Goldman Sachs Foundation, is also managed by the Leadership Development Team.
The focus of National Leadership Development is on designing the course content and ensuring consistency across the regions of London, the Midlands and the North West.
