Innovation Award

Innovation Award

The Innovation Award empowered individuals with game-changing ideas fulfilled our goal of ending educational inequality in the UK. It enabled up to five winners to turn their ideas into a reality.

Each award winner received six months’ full-time salary and a place on our Innovation Incubator, an intensive programme of technical training, supportive mentoring and expert advice to help them develop, pilot and scale their idea. Winners also accessed our unique education expertise, our pioneering and personalised curriculum, and were part of our community, with desk space and membership of the Innovation Hub and Entrepreneur Network.

“Two things separate the Innovation Unit from other incubators. The first is the quality of the team who run it – they are the best at what they do. The second is the quality of that support – Teach First's reputation means that you get support from experts.”

Matt Hood – Institute for Advanced Teaching

The Teach First Innovation award is supported by Bloomberg LP.
