An evening with Teach First: Male representation in the classroom
In your final year of university or just graduated? Join our discussion on the need for more male teachers, leaders and role models in the classroom.
Our challenge is to unlock the potential in all our children, not just some. To rise to it, together we’re creating a culture where children have role models to inspire them. The gender split in teaching is not an even one. We need more male teachers, leaders and role models in the classroom. This event will highlight how the skills you gain at university will help you succeed on our graduate training programme.
Our Training Programme offers you a wide range of benefits to kick start your career. To learn more, join our online event for students in their final year and those who graduated this year, where you can:
- We’re partnering with British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) to share the stories of their alumni, who used their experiences of playing sport at university to make a real difference in the classroom. You can hear directly from them during this event, as well as those involved with high-profile university societies who joined our programme.
- Learn more about how our Training Programme works. In a nutshell, you’ll earn a salary, gain a fully-funded teaching and leadership qualification, and benefit from in-school training with a comprehensive support network
- Hear about opportunities to get involved with our partner organisations including Accenture, Amazon and PwC
Please note, this webinar is specifically aimed at people who have graduated in 2020 or are due to graduate in 2021.
