How can we stop heads heading for the exit?

Join us at the Festival of Education on 7 July to hear how schools can improve headteacher retention.

Headteachers’ challenges are bigger than ever. According to NAHT, 47% of them are considering leaving education earlier than planned post-lockdown. As Teach First refines its approach to supporting new leaders, we’ll share what headteachers on our pilot Headship First scheme learned about addressing isolation and the benefits of cross-sector expertise.

This session will be led by:

  • Bridget Clay – Programme Director, School Leadership, Teach First

The festival is releasing a limited number of free tickets for state funded schools and colleges, please click here for more information. If you miss their ticket lottery, they’re also discounting tickets by a 1/3 for state schools and colleges
