Science, the arts, sports, business – so many advancements, in so many areas, have all started with an inspiring teacher. You could share your passion for a subject with a young person who’ll take it further than you ever imagined.
We place participants to teach numerous curriculum areas, in primary and secondary schools across England and Wales, and we fill our vacancies as soon as we find candidates who meet our requirements. We recommend applying as soon as possible, to improve your chances of getting a place teaching your chosen subject.
The table below shows national availability of the curriculum areas we recruit for – you may be asked to teach more than one in your school. Keep an eye on this page for up-to-date information on which subjects we are still recruiting for. Curriculum areas can fill at different rates across regions of England and Wales so availability can differ from the table below within certain locations.
|2019 cohort curriculum area||Status|

If you are successful at our development centre, you will be made a provisional offer for our Leadership Development Programme and we will match you to a curriculum area. The curriculum area you teach will be based on the needs of our schools and your eligibility. You will have the opportunity to rank your subject preferences within your application, but please be aware that we will only take in to account your preferences for curriculum areas you are eligible to teach.
