Teach First Locations

Where you could teach

Where you could teach

Where will I be placed?

You can state your preferences about where you want to work and what you want to teach on your application form. We will take this into account but please keep an open mind and understand that we will prioritise the needs of the schools and their children over the preferences of our applicants. If you have extenuating circumstances that mean you need to stay in a particular location, please speak to us about this as soon as you open your application.

Wherever you’re teaching, you’ll find that Teach First participants form close-knit, supportive groups. Many choose to live with fellow participants and you'll be given advice on finding affordable housing and how to connect with other participants seeking accommodation in the same area.
