How it works

Our teacher training programme focuses on the classroom, where you learn to teach and lead from the front.

After five weeks of residential training, you'll hit school in September, teaching your language from day one. The programme lasts two years, but the benefits last you a lifetime.

Develop your skills
Alongside teaching in the classroom, you'll get support from Teach First to develop your leadership skills.
Do something meaningful
Unlike most graduate schemes, you have real responsibility and make a difference from day one.

What you get

You'll earn a salary across the two years, and earn a fully-funded Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Leadership (PGDE, worth double the credits of a PGCE).

We'll also work with you to build a tailored development plan for your two years. And you'll be supported at every stage by both us and your school. 

You develop considerable teaching and leadership skills along the way – our alumni are seven times more likely to be promoted to school leadership roles.
