As a school-based mentor, we value the support that you provide for our trainee teachers. Your knowledge, experience and commitment is vital to each participant’s progress as a school teacher, and helps to shape their ongoing professional development.
Everyone who completes the 2017/18 mentor survey by 13 July will be entered into a Prize Draw to win one of two £25 Amazon vouchers.
1. The Prize Draw is open to eligible current headteachers and school-based mentors at Teach First partner schools during 2017/18, who provide their email address as part of completing the school survey 2017/18.
2. Anyone who completes a survey and provides an email address as part of the survey will be entered for free into the Prize Draw.
3. Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
4. Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
5. Teach First accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by Teach First.
6. The closing date for entries into the Prize Draw is 23:59 on 13 July 2018. Entries received outside this time period will not be considered for the Prize Draw.
7. Four winners (two headteachers and two school-based mentors) will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will be performed by a random computer process.
8. Each winner will receive a £25 Amazon voucher, which will be sent to them by post.
9. The winner will be notified by email after 13 July 2018 and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to Teach First within 14 days, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and Teach First shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
10. Teach First reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Teach First’s control makes it necessary to do so.
11. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
12. The decision of Teach First regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
13. Insofar as is permitted by law, Teach First will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize. Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
14. Personal data supplied during the course of this Prize Draw will only be processed as set out in Teach First’s privacy policy.
15. The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
