An Introduction to Teach First

This event is aimed specifically at young professionals and career changers who would like to explore Teach First and our programme. It will enable you to find out more about the charity, the structure and benefits of our route into teaching - all in an informal manner. You'll also be able to get your questions answered by dedicated members of the recruitment team and people who have successfully completed the Training Programme.
Our Training Programme offers:
- School-based and salaried programme: Earn a salary from your first day in September and throughout your training, including school holidays.
- No fees to pay: fully-funded PGDE: Unlike some other routes, you pay no fees for your training and receive a salary. A PGDE is worth double the credits of a traditional PGCE.
- Three points of professional support: Support from a subject expert, an in-school mentor and a Teach First mentor, plus the wider Teach First community.
- Training twice-rated outstanding by Ofsted: 99% of our trainees get a grade 1 or 2 QTS ranking.
