An introduction to Teach First in the North
Webinar for graduates who want to find out about changing career and gaining qualified teacher status (QTS) with Teach First in Cumbria, the North East, North West or Yorkshire & the Humber.
Since 2003, we’ve been improving the life chances and choices for children experiencing poverty. We train talented teachers and equip school leaders working in some of the poorest areas of the country – to give children with the fewest opportunities access to a great education.
In the North of England, we work with schools in a range of communities: from Cumbria to Northumberland, the Humber to Lancashire, and in between – including County Durham, Teesside, South and West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Blackpool.
You’ll learn about how our Training Programme works and find out more about training with us in those communities. In a nutshell, you’ll earn a salary, gain fully funded QTS and PGCE and benefit from in-school training with a comprehensive support network.
We know becoming a teacher is a big choice and there are plenty of options. Join our webinar to learn why Teach First and joining our 16,000 community could be the best route for you.
We have already received many applications and so we're starting to fill for areas including business, early years, history and primary. Come along to avoid disappointment. If you're unable to make the event but would like to learn more, please reach out to Laura at lwilkinson@teachfirst.org.uk.
