The Teach First Ambassadors in Policy Network
This network provides a unique space for connecting Teach First ambassadors working in policy with ambassadors working in the classroom, who are interested in policy and focused on communities facing disadvantage. Its three goals are to:
- Empower members to understand and influence education policy, especially in schools facing disadvantage.
- Strengthen links between ambassadors and key policy figures in government, civil service and the third sector.
- Feed ambassadors’ insights into Teach First’s policy work.
Eligibility: Ambassadors and 2nd year training programme members who are currently working in policy related fields or have an interest in shaping education policy.
The Teach First Innovation Network
This network connects Teach First ambassadors, currently running or aspiring to start a social enterprise or charity, who are intereseted in helping every child fulfil their potential through social impact and innovation. It supports members to grow ideas, increase impact in disadvantaged communities and ignite solutions.
Eligibility: Ambassadors and 2nd year training programme members who are interested in innovation and/or starting their own social enterprise.
The Teach First Business Network
This network is a community of Teach First ambassadors in the private sector, united by a lifelong commitment to the Teach First mission of tackling educational inequality. Through the network, members harness their skills, connections and influence to support schools, champion the mission within their organisations and support one another-driving change in classrooms, workplaces and across society.
"I've really enjoyed reconnecting with fellow Ambassadors and being able to continue the mission whilst outside of the classroom. The resources we have available to us in our jobs and via our network are invaluable to supporting other ambassadors and young people."
- Anu Manthri, 2010 Ambassador
Eligibility: Teach First ambassadors working in the private sector school.
