School Partnerships Manager

The School Partnerships Manager is accountable for overseeing all school relationships in the region with individual and networks of schools, ensuring they are supported by utilising the full breadth of partnership with Teach First. The role leads on the development and implementation of a school engagement strategy to achieve high quality school relationships, with scope for growth, and to ensure school voice is integrated into our work in the region. The role is responsible for ensuring our participants (trainee teachers) are placed in line with school requirements and receive outstanding support from the school.

The Chief Finance Officer is responsible for the financial management of the charity, now over £52m annual income, including the development of a financial and operational strategy. This is a critical leadership role for Teach First, working with the Chief Executive and the Executive team to drive the vision, set corporate strategy and provide professional and people leadership to the organisation, fostering our culture and inspiring confidence in staff, the Board and key external stakeholders, including our primary client the Department for Education. As the Executive Director for Corporate Services, this person leads those functions which enable colleagues to excel in their own work and which ensure we comply with the highest standards of conduct, performance and transparency.

We are looking to attract a talented CFO with significant experience in progressively more senior financial roles in complex organisations; a seasoned leader with a strong commercial mindset and ideally with experience leading support functions. Overall, we are looking for an ambitious leader who shares the values of Teach First and who will excel in balancing long term strategies to improve performance while ensuring the robust day-to-day delivery and development of the vital services on which colleagues rely.

Events coordinator

The Events Coordinator will provide key administrative support to the Central Events team whilst ensuring events and internal coordination are carried out in an accurate, timely and effective manner. The Events Coordinator will support key team projects and initiatives and provide adhoc administrative support to the Head of Events including scheduling meetings and travel, expenses processing and coordination of team events.

Head of Research and Learning

Your work will help ensure our strategy and programmatic work is driven by the latest evidence. This role combines the rigour of academic research with the opportunity to apply it to organisational practice. You will be leading a team of analysts and researchers dedicated to deepening our understanding on how to improve Teach First’s impact. You will work closely with the other teams in the department to make sure that the research agenda takes advantage of the ongoing monitoring work conducted by the Data team, and flows through to strategic projects via the Strategy team.

Programme & Events Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent organisational skills who will be the reliable, positive, “go-to” person for the team who has with both national and regional teams and our external delivery partners. Programme & Events Coordinators are responsible for supporting the high quality and consistent delivery of the Leadership Development Programme which compromises a diverse selection of opportunities, ranging from events including a five-week residential training session, conferences, high-profile speaking events and workshops.

Regional Coordinator

Associate Tutor

Associate Tutors will help the next cohort of teachers feel confident and prepared for entering the classroom in September. You will be highly motivated and prepared to collaborate with peers and Teach First colleagues to facilitate core SI curriculum and provide tailored 1-on-1 and small group support to the incoming cohort of participants. The role will enable you to enhance your adult facilitation and leadership skills outside the classroom, and expand your professional practice through work with peers, gaining some useful tools and knowledge to take back to school. Associate Tutor support is highly valued by participants and it is important that those in the roles can encourage participant development through both the sharing of good practice and by supporting participants to understand how they can apply the theories and practice experienced through Summer Institute to their own classroom.

Teach First is looking to recruit a large team of Secondary Associate Tutors (ATs) for Humanities, DT, Music and History. We are also recruiting a large team of Primary and Early Years ATs. Each AT will work within their curriculum team and be led by a Lead Associate Tutor.

Preparation Management Officer

The Preparation Management Officer will manage offer and enrolment processes for assigned portfolio of candidates, including overseeing the reference and Curriculum Knowledge Audit processes. The role supports and delivers a key part of the candidate journey between selection and starting the programme at Summer Institute. The Preparation Management Officer role can be located in our east or west midlands offices.
