Think teaching is just for recent graduates? Think again. Meet our recruiters to learn how teaching Maths, Science or Modern Foreign Languages could be for you.

The experience you bring to the classroom will help open minds broaden your pupil’s horizons.

Our Training Programme is the largest teacher training and leadership programme in the country, and it comes with a whole host of benefits:

  • Earn a salary from your first day in the classroom.
  • Gain a fully-funded Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Leadership (PGDE) and pay no fees.
  • Receive close, expert support from your school and from us.
  • Work in schools where you can make the biggest difference to your students’ lives.

The subjects that are most in-demand are Maths, Science and MFL – 62% of low-income pupils fail to achieve an A*- C Science GCSE. If you hold a STEM, French or Spanish-related degree you may qualify to teach one of these subjects.

You can also teach Maths and Science from your A-Levels or equivalent if the grade is B or above. You can complete a subject knowledge enhancement course (SKE) before you start teaching in September to boost subject expertise.

Meet one-to-one with a Teach First recruiter to find out more about how Teach First can help you move into a fulfilling and challenging career – sign up today.

Unable to make the event but would like to learn more? Reach out to Laura by emailing lwilkinson@teachfirst.org.uk

Before you sign up please check the subject eligibility criteria on our website.
