I'm a new Year 1 mentor and have not yet received access to my learning platform accounts

If your school (likely your Training Programme lead) has been set you up as a mentor and linked you to your trainee on the Teach First School Portal, please expect platform access to be activated from the 1st of September.

If you are not sure if you have been registered as a mentor by your school, please do double check this with your Training Programme lead in school. They can access full guidance on how to set you up via the School Portal in the ‘Active Programmes’ tab.

If you have been set up over 24 hours ago please check your spam/junk folder for an account activation email. If this hasn’t been received, please do get in touch via our contact us form: https://my.teachfirst.org.uk/contact-us.

Once QTS has been evaluated, Steplab access ends as the platform is not required during the second year of the programme.

If your trainee has had an extension and is working towards QTS in year 2 and you aren’t able to access Steplab, please do get in touch via our contact us form: https://my.teachfirst.org.uk/contact-us.
